Brush Cleanser!
OH MY GOD..... Did you guys know how many different brush cleansers there's out there?
I was aware that there were a lot, but really, it's a jungle.
One thing i noticed, I sure do love my M.A.C one. This brush cleanser works as a charm, gets the job done and your good to go! I've been trying out a couple of different ones, but always return to this sucker. Lately I've even been keeping one as a backup, so I never run dry. :-)
M.A.C describes the product like this:
This one product will clean, disinfect and condition the brush fibers so that brushes will last longer. It is convenient to use and is specifically designed to extend the life of high quality brushes. Brush Cleanser leaves your brushes smelling fresh and clean, and helps shorten their drying time.
I don't know about the whole smelling fresh, but it doesn't reek of alcohol like some of the other ones I tried out.
Of cause you can use this product different ways, but the way I prefer, is to pour out a small amount on a tissue and then wiping the brush in it, till it's clean :) quick and easy. Because it has a conditioning effect also, the hair on the brush can feel a bit greasy after cleaning it many times. Therefore every week or second i deep clean my brushes with shampoo.
