Christmas was crazy at work, so not much time to Blog.
I want to adress the subject, new years resolutions! :)
I think a lot of people make small mistakes when they decide what resolution the want for the new year to come. You need to remember to make a resolution you can achieve in a nearby future.
- have a goal
- be specific
- break it up, with steps
how much? how long period? and how in general?
wrong way: I wanna loose weight this year starting 1'th of january.
Right way: I wan't to loose 10kg total, within the next 2 months starting 1'th of january i should have reached 5kg (achievable goal, that helps motivate to reach the final 10). I'm gonna quit chocolate, coffee and soda in the weekdays, allowing myself a treat in the weekend. (not gonna run sour on the diet). And i'm gonna do small exercises every day to help me achieve my goal.
That to me is a good resolution, cause I can se a timeline for what i need, and it seems achievable, so I would be highly motivated to reach to my goal.
Hope this had made sense :)
On to my own resolution.
I want to tone my body. Lately I haven't really been happy about my body shape. My arms are saggy, my stomach round in the edges, and bloated, legs a bit to loosy goosy.
Then a couple of days ago I stumbled across a website called:
http://www.bodyrock.tv/
This site inspired me to get myself together and do something about it, instead of just complaining about it. You don't tone up, by whining :)
I don't necessarily wan't to loose weight, but I wan't a visible difference in my body tone. I just ordered my Gymboss interval timer and hope it arrives before February so i can do the 30 day challenge. If it arrives I'm gonna attend the program for 3 months, taking before and after pictures. Depending how big difference there is, I'm probably gonna continue until summer and then take a break during the vacation time.
Let me know what your New years resolutions are :)
